High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Had a great time with the family at this show. The food was good, but the entertainment was the shining star. My seven year old boy was captivated the entire evening; this never happens with him. Tried and enjoyed: Pulled pork Cole slaw Tried and loved: Mashed potatoes and gravy Meh: Fried chicken Chocolate pudding desert Overall great service, good food, fun family entertainment. I will go again.

Worth every penny, fast friendly service, great food, big heaping portions of chicken taters corn and bbq, your glass will never go empty, and if you are old enough sample the shine. The show was a hoot, there is a popgun in the show so if you got a bad ticker bring your meds but you will enjoy it.

dinner and show were a lot of fun! tickets are clearly marked so there's no reason to rush through the photo opportunity. have fun with participation as this makes this experience more enjoyable. I expected the show to be incredibly corny and it was :) it was cute and fun. the dancers and musicians were talented. food was basic...fried chicken, pulled barbecue pork, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, cole slaw, rolls and then a chocolate pudding dessert. all had a great taste and there was more than enough to eat. tea & "moonshine" were served in mason jars. overall experience was roughly 2hrs and getting there early helps with crowd control :)

I had a decent experience at the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show. However, I wish we had more information ahead of time. First, it's not necessarily "all you can eat." It's only for the first 30 minutes of the show (wish our tickets had told us to arrive earlier!) and if you can manage to get your server's attention. Our server, Justin, was clearly overwhelmed. He kept refilling our drinks from a pitcher of flat soda and never offered to refill any of our food items. We had to ask for more chicken and even then, he brought us one piece ten minutes later when we had asked for two. Maybe the experience would have been better with a more seasoned server and if we had arrived earlier. We felt rushed and neglected, but the show itself was GREAT!

My husband actually liked this show which is shocking! He is a tough cookie when it comes to entertainment but this one was worthy of a compliment! To start you walk up to a building laced with tombstones, hillbilly signage, and laundry hanging in the line. My my my those are BIG panties! Walking in we were greeted by a real life hillbilly! Come to find out, he plays the washboard too. Thick mountain accent and the "look" to go with it. The entry is a shop filled with goods aimed at the tourist and people who have money burning holes in their pocket. The REAL find, however, is the moonshine still fish tank designed and created specifically for this dinner show by Fish Tank Kings! Of course everyone gets their picture taken. A shotgun and moonshine jug are the only props offered. I'm sure that's due to time and the line of people that must get in. Heads up, the picture is cute but they are printed on a "printer" so the color is off, unfortunately. Seating is stadium style. Hayfields on the audience left. McCoys on audience rights. Floor seating is the best because it's right at the stage, however, the elevated seats are leveled at perfect heights so no ones head blocks anyone else's. Saw tables that would seat 2, 4, and 6 people. They are "snug" so if you are large you may want to ask for a table that seats two more than the number in your party.* Tables have BBQ sauce, sweetness, salt, pepper, and place settings. Upon sitting down, a server promptly greets you and takes drink orders. Iced tea, Coke products, water. There was mention of strawberry lemonade from the stage but it was never offered to us. Next comes possum soup in a metal bowl and a basket of bread. Serving size is roughly half cup and honestly tasted like gravy.* next comes metal buckets with: fried chicken (all white meat), pulled pork, mashed potatoes, corn on cob (clearly previously frozen but it was hot!), and coleslaw. Dessert is a pudding cup with whipped cream and crumbled Oreo cookies. There was mention of Apple pie from the stage, but we were not offered any. Peddlers selling beer, moonshine, flags, DVDs, and cow bells come around to the tables. The only high pressure salesman had the cow bells. While dining there is some country music played from the stage. Sets the mood. The kids are called up to dance to a mountain song (great plot to sell DVDs). Then the Kiss Cam and Hug Came go live! FUN and FUNNY! The show was fun! Lots of clapping, knee slapping, and shouting from the audience. Not spoiling the show in my review! Go check it out and have fun for yourself! We were asked to tip $3.50 per person for our server.* We left laughing and rehashing parts of the show which ended with a patriotic tribute!

Very talented people but I thought it was a little over the top with the acting. The animated talking bears were a little cheesy. More geared towards kids. The food was good but not as good as the food served at Dixie Stampede or the Lumberjack Feud. I'd rank this show #3 in pigeon forge behind Dixie and Lumberjack Feud.

Great food and a fantastically fun time. Cousin Wild Bill will hook you up, come see him!

  • Richard R.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Fun (sort of), but extremely cheesy! There are a lot of moments where the jokes just don't work and several where you find yourself laughing because other people are laughing and you just wanna be part of the fun. But there are some genuinely good laughs to be had. This was the Christmas version of their show, so maybe other shows throughout the year are funnier. When you first arrive, several cast members are walking around the lobby/store in full character. Your ticket will determine if you are a Hatfield or a McCoy. We were team McCoy on this night. We made our dinner reservations a tad late, which is probably why we were about as far away from the stage as you could possibly be. Still, the seats really weren't bad. Our youngest son got called on stage to interact with the cast, so it was a memorable evening for him. THE FOOD Almost immediately after being seated our server greeted us to take drink orders and soon after our meal arrived, which included: * Soup (4 stars) - They actually sell the soup in their gift shop. Good stuff! * Fried Chicken (3 stars) - Juicy, but not very flavorful * Pulled Pork BBQ (3 stars) - Decent, but I've had much better. * Corn on the cob (3 stars) - Standard, noting added. * Mashed potatoes (3.5 stars) - Pretty good, but wish they'd provided some gravy or butter. * Cole slaw (2 stars) - I like my cole slaw sweet and this was not. * Chocolate pudding desert (2.75 stars) - Meh, could have done without it. * Sodas/Sweet Tea served in mason jars (4 stars) There is plenty of time to eat dinner prior to the start of the show (provided you arrive on time). Announcements will be made 10 minutes prior to the show letting you know your servers will not be available during the show. IF you have completed your meal, they will clear your table. Also, if you need more of anything, this would also be the time to ask. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The only thing I asked for more of was the soup. Upon entering the auditorium, you will be asked to take a photo. Just before the lights go down for the show one of the cast member will bring the photo to your table for purchase (about $20). We declined. --------------- HISTORY --------------- THE REAL STORY OF TE HATFIELD'S & McCOY'S A real life feud that dates back to the 1800's where the more affluent Hatfield's used their political connections to benefit their family in ways that really pissed off the poorer McCoy's. However, the feud initially began because one of the McCoy's fought for the North's Union army instead of the South's Confederate army. He was discharged early due to a war injury and was hunted down and killed by a militia that included members of the Hatfield family. Years later, a dispute broke out over ownership of a hog that was settled in court in favor of the Hatfield's. Sounds fair until you realize the judge was a Hatfield. Testimony was given by a relative of both families and he was later killed by McCoy's. Then the ultimate happened! A McCoy female by the name of Roseanna began dating a Hatfield and soon became pregnant. Well, the McCoy clan retaliated by captured her lover on charges of outstanding warrants with intentions of taking him to a Kentucky court for prosecution. The Hatfield's were having none of that and came in force surrounding the McCoy's to take back their kin. Although he impregnated the McCoy girl, he left her in favor of another McCoy, her cousin!!!! Can you say DAAAA---YUUUM! Scandalous!!!! In the years to follow, almost a dozen deaths occurred between the families as they took opportunities of revenge! So much so that the governor of the state got involved. At the climax of the feud, the Hatfield's surrounded the McCoy's and open fire on one of their homes and set it on fire. This was known as the 1888 New Year's Night Massacre. They shot the two children and left the wife for dead after a severe beating. The husband escaped and coincidentally, the Hatfield's escaped prosecution for this crime. Well, for a little while that is, until the case was reopened years later. All in all, it goes down as one of, if not THEE ugliest family feud in American history. ---------- FINAL THOUGHTS The cost of tickets for our family of four would have been just over $200. However, we sat in on a 90-minute time share presentation to get free tickets (yes, I'm cheap!). Our time share presentation was scheduled for 2 pm (actually didn't begin until 2:30) and we were still able to make it to the show by 4:45pm. It was totally worth it for less than 2 hours of our time, but I'm not sure I would be willing to pay to return to this show. Like I sad at the beginning, it's just a little too cheesy and the food is only average (except that delicious soup). Still, I suppose it does provide some historic education :-) The experience is definitely 3 stars, but could be 4 stars with a few tweaks. Best part of the show was the clogging!

Interesting place seemed like a good show aimed at the younger ones. Overall a good place to take kids without worry about language or them seeing too much. Food was ok served in "buffet style" as in they bring large portions of food to your table and help yourself. A bit pricy but fine other than that

  • A Barby B.

Food was okay . If you are a vegetarian this is not the place for you. The family did like it. There was all you can eat chicken , however the vegetable soup was limited! Being that is almost all I ate I was hungry ! It's $61.27 per person and it says all you can eat so go early because once the show starts the lights go off and no more food! I was hungry and not happy with the very small portion of soup and some cold hard pasta they served me as the vegetarian serving. Had no flavor and was hard and sticky.

Super fun time! We went with friends and our kids on a whim. It was fantastic. They are awesome tap dancers! And at our show, the main character started to laugh so hard because the sound guy was delayed and it was hilarious! Food is great. We sat down and it was brought out immediately. It was all you can eat fried chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, bread, soup and pudding.

This is an attraction that's well worth the money! Awesome show, and great food!! There isn't a bad seat in the house, so wherever you are you'll be able to see. The food (fried chicken, bow pork, mashed potatoes, corn, slaw, bread and soup) is all you can eat and it's really good! Both the kids and the grown ups were happy with it. The entertainers are the very best in their crafts--great musicians and even better cloggers! We'll see this show again and again, I'm sure :-)

Coming here having no idea how it worked, it was a blast. Good food, just not much variety. And no chocolate milk. Servers were very nice, dessert was excellent, and you will leave with a smile.

  • Bediggety73 S.

Tourist Trap. Go for the show because the food is pretty lame, meal is worth about 12.00 per person so that's about 50.00 left per person for the cheesy show, which is really worth about 15-20$. Salty creamed soup that tasted from a can, fried chicken was dry, mashed potatoes were boxed, pulled pork bland. Instant banana or chocolate pudding was ONLY desert, and it had pockets of dry mix that was not incorporated, Gag!! On top of all that the peddlers were relentless in trying to suck every last dime out you you to buy all kinds of extra crap, moonshine, pictures, bells, etc. Warning: When you buy your tickets they try to sell you a combo ticket that includes their sister show at the Comedy Barn at a discounted price, this show is NOT a dinner show, just a show. They don't specify that so you assume so and think your getting a great deal.

Fantastic show and food! The chicken, pork, corn, and potatoes were wonderful. The rolls were out of this world and amazing! My 15 month old loved the show and not once cried etc. He was greatly entertained! If you want great service and southern hospitality I suggest booking your dinner here. The staff helped our family get settled in to our seats in section G. We had so much to carry with my son being special needs and on oxygen.

We came in expecting average at best food and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is really good. Save some of the awesome soup and pour it over your mash potatoes and it is off the hook. The show only ended up being an hour, which was surprising but I had too much food and didn't want a long show. Very funny show and watching the ad libs really had us rolling.

I attended an 8:00 Sat. night performance. They don't tell you this, but get there around 45 min early to get pictures made and get in the theatre to start your meal. Check on traffic conditions before you leave. It took us an hour and a half to drive five miles because of an event in Pigeon Forge. Traffic barely moves there sometimes. There's no refund if you miss the performance for any reason!! My just-turned five-year-old granddaughter went with me and was frightened at the very loud sound effects used - lots of gun fire, fighting, whips and even dynamite - so much so that she begged to leave! (Don't bring younger kids! Not suitable! Saw several babies and felt very sorry for the people around them.) Glad we stayed because she settled down and enjoyed herself. The food was okay, but the music, dancing and acting were great!

  • Stephen L.

The show was hilarious, and our server - David - was even better. He had a great sense of humor and took great care of us. The best part was dessert - I won't ruin how fun that was, but I'll at least say that Grannie's special desert was delectable! The chicken was a very dry, but that didn't take away from the show - which was well worth seeing. Recommendation would be to offer ketchup or some other kind of dipping sauces to go with the chicken. Thanks, David, and thanks, Hatfields & McCoys!

This show is a must. The pulled pork, chicken, rolls and cole slaw are great. Corn and potatoes are ok. The show its self is great. So much young good talent on stage. The 2 girls who do most of the singing are awesome. I highly recommend this show

Great great great entertainment. Food was good and show was awesome. So entertain for my 7 and 9 year olds. The entertainers kept you engaged the whole show. The price was a shock but once I saw the show, I'd spend it again.

We got tickets here as a package deal as long as we sat through a timeshare shpiel. We arrived and got our tickets and after the obligitory "get your picture taken" we were seated. Our seats were right at stage level, probably a good 10 feet from the main stage. Our food was promptly brought out and consisted of fried chicken and pulled pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, bread, and "possum soup." We wanted gravy and the soup fit the bill, doing double duty as a soup and white gravy. The drinks were served in mason jars. The show was excellent and even our middle child laughed! It was the Christmas show and they had references to Scrooge and the Grinch. The acting was excellent and at one point there was a flub where they were too "shoot out a window" but the sound effects were a tab bit late so the actors broke that "fourth wall", which just added to the comedy. Afterwards the cast comes off stage and interacts with the audience with handshakes and all. We are definitely going to go back and see another show, and take my mother in law with us. The price is steep (since it is a tourist show) and we wouldn't have done it if we had to pay full price, but it is well worth it if you have the money.

  • B T.

Very nice show! They give you food ahead of time and by the time the show starts the food is gone. My favorite part was the tap dancing it was amazing! I will definitely recommend this to friends!

  • Kathy S.

Great entertainment! The food was okay, but not fantastic. The performances were wonderful! A couple young kids tap danced and were right in step with the adults, which was amazing! The kids were about 6 & 10 years old. Downfall is the show is on a strict time constraint, so no intermission or announcements of birthdays or anniversaries. I would recommend the show as it was the best one I watched while visiting the town.

  • David S.

The show was really good... very entertaining kept us going til the end... dinner however was not as good as I'd hoped. Creamy vegetable soup is from a mix and has no vegetables in it.mashed potatoes with no gravy. Chicken was a bit dry... overcooked. .. pulled pork was good but also seemed store-bought. They really need to up the food quality. For the money I still expected a bit more than what I received but thw show made up for some of that.

Went to the Christmas Disaster show. First time we ever went to a Smoky Mountain dinner show and was extremely happy we chose Hatfield and McCoys. The food was unbelievable, fried chicken and pulled pork with all the fixins'. Service was top notch, even with a jammed packed house. And the show? We couldn't stop laughing. Highly recommend this show when your in the area!!!

  • Shawn M.

The show was great! I wish we had a better waiter. Ours was new or something. He seemed very nervous. Never got cornbread with the dinner. And only gpt tea/drink refills once. The other waiter in the area came served drinks to his crew 8 times before we got refills. The waiters are under paid and over worked.

  • Amanda S.

Excellent music and a hilarious cast! The acting was a bit corny, but that's why it's so good. Wonderful food and the service was great! Children were asked to participate on stage. My 18 month old curious nephew was glued to the stage. It was very busy as it is Christmas in TN but well worth it! Very entertaining. The singing was not your typical cabaret either--it was great! The food was also good country fare.

Fantastic acting, delicious food, my gosh it can take hours saying all of the pros about Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show. One of the pros are the service, the waiters are so nice. Another pro is the food, they don't have a menu, but it's very good. They serve drinks first, then the big feast, chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken, biscuits, and vegetable soup. The show was hilarious, there was singing, tap-dancing and instruments like banjos, guitars, buckets, and more!

Located on the main strip in Pigeon Forge. You need to arrive 45 minutes before the show starts, to get your seats and dinner food. The food was just average. The show, their attempt of a family acceptable story of the feud between the Hatfield and McCoy families, was pure corn. I found the best parts were when actual stage slip-ups occurred and even the cast could not help but laugh at their live mishaps. Some of the singing and instrumentals were quite good, but the story was lacking pizzazz. If you have small children with you, the table set ups, with the solid wood wall/railings between the tiers, makes it quite difficult for them to see. Even with booster seats, the wood wall/railing is right at their view line. Get tickets in advance or you may not get in. Some shows offer packages deals if you buy tickets to this show and another on the strip. Kids might like seeing the live animals that are out front of the theater. I can say I saw it, but wold not see it again. I would suggest to save your money or go down the street to the Lumberjack Dinner show instead.

Decent show, not a return venue. The food was good, not enough fried chicken is all. The soup was delicious. I suggest a combo ticket if in town a while. This ticket alone is $50.00 per adult. The combo ticket was only $5.00 more for another show of your choice. This is what we done. Makes you feel a little better about spending your money on these shows.

Excellent show! Perfect for families and kids of all ages. Food was tasty and service was fabulous. You won't regret the decision to attend!

I felt the show was funny and entertaining. The food was good but there should be more than one piece of chicken per person. The pulled pork should be removed from the menu...it is a big waste of food. There should also be gravy for the mashed potatoes. The biggest problem and downfall with the entire production is the sales pitch for the DVD and the CD AND the asking for the tip for the wait staff. Not only do they ask for tip but they have a card on the tip tray saying how much you should leave per person!! I am giving this a 3 star because of the annoying salesmanship!

Great way to end our vacation in Gatlinburg! The FOOD is fantastic, from the creamy soup and corn bread in the beginning to the pork, chicken, potatoes and cole slaw in the middle, to the pudding at the end (although by that point we were so full that we barely ate any of it!) The SERVICE is outstanding, too, given that the wait-staff is all over the place during dinner. They're very friendly and stay in character the whole time which really adds to the experience of the show. The SHOW itself was awesome. The amount of talent they put up on that stage is incredible--some of the best musicians, singers and cloggers I've ever seen--and it's highly entertaining. The story was a little contrived, but I suppose that's to be expected at a dinner show. The mayor and sherriff certainly had us laughing the whole time. The only thing I did NOT LIKE was the incessant "commercials" to buy photos (they make you take a picture in front of a green screen when you first come in so they can sell it to you later), dvds of that night's performance, etc. It's a bit self-serving for my taste. So be warned that they'll be trying to take more of your money. Other than that, I'd say this is a MUST SEE (even better than the Dixie Stampede!)

I liked the food. Tucker singing towards the end and Sonny playing banjo were the best parts. Sonny Smith and Tucker McCandles are excellent musicians and were the reason I went. They should be highlighted more. I went solely for the music (banjo/bluegrass).

First, the food. Arrive early, because dinner service stops when the show starts. The soup is delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. The cornbread is okay, though I admit I'm not a huge fan of cornbread. The fried chicken is good, the pulled pork is alright, but certainly far from the best I've had. The beans were under cooked and under salted. The slaw was okay, but not fantastic. My mom, a vegan, received a kind of pesto pasta which was actually better than I expected, and possibly my third favorite thing behind the soup and chicken. The dining experience was okay. This being the only dinner show I went to while here, I have nothing to compare it to. The show was okay. The story was not as predictable as I was expecting, but the humor was as corny as I was expecting. The funniest parts were actually unintentional, where a the caps in a gun failed to fire and a singer forgot the words. The girls playing the Hatfield daughters are without a doubt the highlight of the show. Overall: Fine for going there once but I wouldn't be back. The soup and the Hatfield girls pretty much saved this from a 2 star review.

Great funny show. It's a good time for family. The meal I personally think is better than the meal at Dixie Stampede. Except for the coleslaw, it quite bland. The fried chicken is some of the best! They do invite some people to participate in the show. My wife had a great time on stage. You least gotta take it in once.

The show was silly and made me laugh. The food kind of made me feel ripped off though. We paid $49 per ticket. The food was preset dinner menu. You only get a dabble of everything. We had 2 people at our hightop table. it comes out in little tin cups. Soup, cole slaw, beans, pulled pork, only 2 pieces of white meat fried chicken, and a chocolate pudding. When we asked if there was any dark meat or kegs hoping it would be less dry, our waiter told us you get what ya get and ya better like it. Well I didn't like it or the beans or the pulled pork or mashed potatoes with no gravy. Cole slaw was ok and when I asked for a refill, I literally got an additional tablespoon of it. I gave up and stopped by Krispy kreme afterwards for some doughnuts. The show was not as predictable as I thought and the story line was cute and the dancing was great. Sure there has to be better ones out there though....If the food was better the $49 would have been worth it.

The food was very good! Especially the soup! Yumm! The show was very entertaining. The cloggers were very good and the jokes weren't too corny! I totally recommend this show! :)

The show was super funny and the food was a good home cooked meal (just like granny made it). You get to eat before the show so you aren't trying to pay attention to what is going on up on the stage while trying to hit your mouth with your food. The tickets are a little pricey considering that they are $50 per person, but you do get a show and dinner. Over all it was great and we would most definitely go again.

About what I would expect for Pigeon Forge. Kind of corny comedy, singing, and dancing. Food is decent, certainly plentiful. You're divided into Hatfields and McCoys (a la Dixie Stampede style, if you've ever been there, but with less production value). Arrive early because food service stops when the show starts. Family friendly. Probably worth checking out if you're a frequent flier to the area.
